The aim of the Hexsweep.io game is to find all the mines on the field and tag such cells. On the field the size of some cells is hidden mines. The total number of mines is indicated at the top in the information panel.

Game starts with the first click on any cell on the field. When you click on a cell, it opens. If it has a mine, all mines open on the field, and the game ends in loss. If there is no mine in the cell itself, but there are mines in neighboring cells, a number corresponding to the number of mines in neighboring cells is displayed. If there is neither in the cell itself nor in neighboring mines, the cell remains empty and all adjacent empty eggs are opened until cells with non-zero information about the number of mines are reached.

Before the game starts, you can specify the number of mines in the field. The more mines are hidden, the harder it is to play. By default, the field is placed 10 minutes.

After the game is left undetected only the cells, presumably with mines, then Hexsweep.io game will check the result and display a message about the success or failure of the proposed version of the placement of mines.
